Aksys Games today announced that the popular otome adventure 7’scarlet is now digitally available for Nintendo Switch™.

The game will launch physically in the UK and Europe on June 12, 2025.

Can Ichiko solve the mystery of her missing brother?

The Switch version of 7'scarlet has been updated with blinking eyes and mouth movements linked to the voice, as well as additional screen movements for an enhanced sense of realism. A special edition of the game with a diorama featuring the 7'scarlet characters, including the Okune Panda, is available exclusively from the Aksys Online Store.

In 7’scarlet, players take on the role of a young woman journeying to the remote town of Okunezato to locate her missing brother. Shaped like a crescent moon, Okunezato is 
shrouded in dark myths and legends. As Ichiko and her childhood friend get to know the cast of eccentric characters at the Fuurinkan Hotel, they are drawn into the mysterious events taking place in the town. Encounter heart-racing twists and turns as you dig deeper into the story.

About the game:

In 1716, the first year of the Kyoho era, Japan was under the rule of Tokugawa Yoshimune, the eighth shogun. The story takes place on a miniature garden in the sky, the renowned and prosperous utopia, Itehari. Our protagonist is Hinagiku, a noble lady from a distinguished family who longs for the world beyond the floating town. One day, Hinagiku, having just turned 18 years old, encounters an amnesiac man named Yashiro. Their fortuitous meeting becomes the catalyst that drags Hinagiku into a series of events involving the secrets and various truths hidden beneath the surface of Itehari…for this garden in the sky is a false utopia.

Illusion of Itehari is a completely new otome game project created by a renowned group of artists and staff, and the first project from "LicoBiTs", a joint venture by Broccoli and TIS Creation aimed at making games for the female audience.
